The FS124 Proximity and Twilight Switch is used to automatically turn on lighting for a specified period of time. It is designed to detect a person entering the stairs or walking down a hallway. The sensor uses a Sharp reflective sensor, ensuring reliable operation. The sensor has adjustable sensitivity (the distance at which it responds), adjustable time for which the lighting remains on (from 5 to 90 seconds), and adjustable light intensity level at which the switch begins to detect motion. The switch is ready to detect motion when the red LED is lit. Switching the light on and off is seamless (brightening and dimming). The sensor works by sending an invisible beam towards the detected object. This beam reflects off the object (e.g., a person’s leg) and returns to the sensor, allowing for its detection. No mirrors are required in front of the sensor. Objects are only detected directly in front (narrow angle). When the switch detects an object, the red LED on the front of the sensor will illuminate simultaneously. The switch is available in white and black versions. The device can be used with LED amplifiers.
